  • Visit to Dr Challoner's School in Little Chalfont to host a Cafe Scientific. March 2017.
  • Cafe Scientific - Royal Society, March 2016
  • Royal Society Summer Science Exhibition Schools talks and Evening Lecture (one of three scientists providing a program of talks for school children, all of which were at full capacity totalling 8 lectures over 4 days, 500+ people, mostly A-level students). July 2016.
  • Cafe Scientific at Manchester European City of Science Exhibition, July 2016
  • Chemical & Physical Society (CPS) at University College London for members of the chemistry department and SCI London (November 2016)
  • A day of filming with BBC4 for a two-part documentary about Sound Waves - The Symphony of Physics.
  • SoapBox Science on London's South Bank (2014)
  • Armed only with Doris the Donkey I took to the stage as part of UCL's Science Showoff event. Doris has splendidly large eyes and ears which were very helpful for discussing multisensory integration. Unfortunately she got stage fright and couldn't demonstrate the ventriloquism illusion on this occasion... (2014)
  • March 2014: TEDx talk at the Courtauld Institute's Colouring Life event. No donkey this time. Instead we discussed how vision can help with listening. You can view it here.
